Our House

Can Cua, also known as Can Pares de Ter is, as its name suggests, on the left bank of the river Ter, in the municipality of Sant Gregori and about five kilometers from the city of Girona.

Located in a mountainous area surrounded by mountain forests can soms, at the foot of Sant Grau and Bescanó Valley in the background.

The year of its construction has been lost from memory with the passage of time and life events, but according to some data we can speak of the beginning of the eighteenth century.

Farm where people lived their work in the countryside and forests, who grew up to survive on their own garden, raised cattle, killed the pig and bread were made, and if anything had been left on the market.

That people were always welcome, and shown by planting a cypress tree at the entrance to the house, sign a plate on the table from the outside or two signal a plate and a bed to rest.
Memories of a past that no longer exists ...

Cypress still welcoming. Tranquility, the illusion of living in the countryside, surrounded by fields and forests and the security of being very well behaved, if at all.
